I conducted a workshop on Virtual Surgery Planning at Pacific Dental College & Hospital under the aegis of Rajasthan state Chapter of AOMSI on 11-02-2023. The event was free to attend for the Student members and Life members of the Association Of Oral And Maxillofacial Surgery Of India.

The softwares used at the workshop were mostly free. This was done to make sure that everyone is able to run the software on their laptop. The participants practiced 3D segmentation of the dicom data using Slicer 3D. Mock surgery using Adobe Meshmixer and Blender 3D. Then finally they were given a demo of 3D slicing and printing the STL model.
Here are 2 lectures from the workshop.
It was a fun and learning experience for me.
That sounds like a fantastic initiative! Offering the workshop free of cost and using open-source software like Slicer 3D, Meshmixer, and Blender really lowers the barrier for students to gain hands-on experience. The practical exposure to segmentation, mock surgeries, and even 3D printing must have been incredibly valuable. It reminds me a bit of Geometry Dash Lite—while it’s a simple game on the surface, the real depth comes from building and experimenting with custom levels, just like your participants experimented with surgical planning tools.
The Virtual Surgery Planning Workshop is an advanced training program that helps surgeons plan complex facial surgeries using 3D models and computer assisted tools. During the workshop participants learn to digitally model patient anatomy simulate different surgical approaches and predict outcomes. This improves surgical accuracy reduces operation time, and enhances patient results.
I recently got an emotional support dog and balancing work with care is important for me. I found The Pets Help which assists in taking care of my dog so I can complete tasks on time while still spending quality moments with my emotional support dog.
This blog on virtual surgery planning workshops offers a fascinating look into how technology is reshaping medical education. I actually had an online exam focused on digital health tools and innovations in surgical planning. While preparing, I realized how demanding the material was and started exploring support options. That’s when I began wondering if anyone could take my online exam during particularly intense academic weeks.
The Virtual Surgery Planning Workshop is an incredible initiative that introduces students and professionals to cutting-edge digital tools used in surgical planning. It enhances understanding of anatomy, precision techniques, and pre-operative strategies using 3D modeling. While attending a similar workshop, I was also managing a tough university dissertation. Balancing both was difficult, so I decided to buy cheap dissertation. That’s when I came across The Dissertation Help they delivered quality work on time, allowing me to focus on both my academics and practical learning without stress.
The concept of a Virtual Surgery Planning Workshop is an exciting leap in medical education and practice. These workshops enhance precision, reduce operation time, and provide a hands-on experience in a digital environment, especially valuable for maxillofacial and craniofacial procedures. They’re not only transformative for professionals but also offer students and trainees the opportunity to understand complex surgeries before stepping into an OR.
I remember back in my academic years, after submitting a long research-based essay, I realized it needed polishing before final grading. That’s when I found out about an academic editing service, a lifesaver for improving structure, grammar, and coherence. It’s especially useful when you're juggling technical or detailed subjects.
